A whole new world!

It's a whole new JoeUser.

The site has been completely rewritten from scratch. Some features haven't been completely re-implemented and there are bound to be some glitches.

But we now have the kind of backend and application support to do all kinds of cool stuff.

In the coming days, various usability tweaks will be made as we discover what key little features we've overlooked. Then, in the next few weeks, we'll start to add in new abilities and such.

We hope you like the new setup. I think as you look around your blogs you'll find that you have a lot more control than before and will find that things actually (shock) work much better than the old system.

Hmmm I don't even see a blacklist link let alone one being too close to the quote one. Where is it?

Is it just me or did the "Religion" forum category go byebye on the forums.joeuser.com (right hand column)?

AD, must be just you.  I posted there this morning.

See ya!

I'm working on a Guided Tour to JoeUser 2 (With Pictures!) article for tomorrow walking everyone through where we've put all the cool new features.

And as far as the blacklists going bye-bye... they hadn't worked in nearly 2 years anyway, so I don't think that's an issue.

Hmmm... I posted a reply, then it disappeared.  It seems the religion category is missing from the "forums" page.  Although I posted to it his morning, I did so from a compostion page and the category appeared in a selectrion box to the right.

Hmmm.

I'm loving the new format but if you're taking requests, I would love to see the entire article title featured under recent articles.  My ten free things you can do to save the planet, just reads ten free things you...

I suppose I could just make my titles shorter but hey it doesn't hurt to ask.

Other than the kinks (which are the usual!!!) I totally like this new layout. Thanks JU Admins.

Could one of the administrators respond to my question about posting pictures, please.

I saw someone else ask about the fourm page, but I didn't see the answer. Is there still one?

O.K. adding another question. I used to write in front page and then copy and paste the script, can I still do that with this new editor?

Thanks.

I have a few questions and issues, hopefully I can get this clered up here.

1) Somehow I can never stay logged on to the site neither with Firefox or EI when even I leave the site. I always have to log in manually on the old JU and this new one.

2) Is this site more Firefox friendly? The quote feature never worked for me.

3) Can I still use programs such as Microsoft Word Blog and Microsoft Live Writer to post articles?

4) Is there a signature feature, I wouldn't mind having something like a modo, a phrase or my name at the bottom of each of my replies. I'll even take a add on for Firefox that can do that.

Sorry for all the points, just would like to have a better JU experience if I can get this issues out of the way.

Doesn't show up in the forums. If you're on a blog it's over to the left of your comments...under the avatars, I believe.

There seems to be some issue with a script in the new article page. I've already emailed Zoomba about it. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.
