Better but not good enough..

Bush is doing better this time but he's still totally outclassed by Kerry.

The momentum is shifting to Kerry. President Kerry? Republicans may need to get used to that.

Kerry stares into the camera: 'I will not raise taxes...' (Anybody Remember Clinton's same line?)

Minute later same Kerry different mindset: '...rolling back tax cuts...'

Last time I checked when you roll back a tax cut it is called a tax raise, right?

Yeah when he said that all I could think of was "read my lips, no new taxes!".

I will not stand for this. Please view the articlees on the ridiculousness of people like you.

Sandy, what is your problem? If Kerry mopped the floor with Bush, why would someone's (Documented and correct) opinion matter to you?

Me thinks your bravado is false, and you saw that Kerry has used his last sound bite.

Kerry was coached by all the cleaver liars of his ilk and that includes Clinton. I can't believe the people can't see through his lies. Just his looks waiting this turn to speak, spells liar. And don't forget he marched with Fonda committing treason.

BTW this is Not conjecture, nor is it spin, and it ain't fantasy! It's pure unadulerated proven fact!

There are obviously people out there who would like to make the election about nothing more than the 3 ninety minute debates, because if Kerry can look and sound good and the media mouthpieces work it right, they think they can make those 3 debates mean more than Kerry's 20 year career and pathetically wet-finger-to-the-political-wind campaign. That would truly be a triumph of style over substance.

Problem is, I don't think the electorate is as gullible as some seem to believe. I believe there are too many good sources of reliable information out there for them to pull it off. Few weeks & we'll know.

I made a mistake on previous post. I missed the section I wanted. I'll try again.

Just his looks waiting this turn to speak, spells liar. And don't forget he marched with Fonda committing treason. How can someone like that become president? I

i thought Jeb's brother did a little better this time around

it sounds like most posters have their minds made up

i liked Jeb's brother interrupting the moderator; very "John Wayne" like; very "macho"

the Iraqis are glad Sadaam is gone
but it also looks like the Iraq people no longer want us there
let's face it America
that's gratitude, isn't it?

On the first one, Ok! On the second, not on your life! I will NOT go to ANY site that bashes Bush!

If Bush is judged by his speaking ability vs Kerry, he will always seem to fall short, because speaking simply isn't his forte. Public speaking is the arena of big-talking high-money lawyers who have to talk big to get a bigger verdict. It's no wonder that Bush is outclassed.

Thankfully, Bush wasn't elected for his speaking abilities, and I think the fact that he really didn't do all that bad will just make it an easier election to win.
