Zoomba
I want.

One for everyone in the office?

There's a pretty good chance of this.

At least, that is, if everyone in the world buys 2 copies of DG

Ouch! 53 programs opened in no time at all? My old system is taking over 5 minutes to load Photoshop these days....

So..... yes, I want one please....

anyone see a build cost?  dont think i really want to know.

That's not a computer, that's an illness.  Or a divorce.

Did anyone catch what size power supplies they were running?

I bet the power meter is spinning as fast as a roulette wheel.

Man, I so want one.

on Mar 10, 2009

That's amazingly fast.  However, my life is flying past me at a breakneck speed the way it is....I don't need anymore speed.  I need some breaks!

Y'all can have this.  I'm going to just smell the roses for a while.

Just think.  You could get 2 monitors, play Demigod in windowed mode with 4 running in each screen, put them all on high settings, and play 8 games of DG at once!

"2 x 1000 watt power supplies soldered ATX GND/POS on"

Erk drools uncontrollably ...

WANT!

on Mar 10, 2009

Wow! that was Fast!!!!

I'll leavesome space in my bags.....for when I visit Stardock in September.....

Any colour will do....I'm not fussy....

my only problem is they had it laying out and about.  I mean I guess with SSD drives it doesn't much matter (you could just shove them all in there and they'd work just fine) but I personally wouldn't have the desk space for that.

Admittingly, it shows just how much of a difference having that many drives raided together can do (though I'm sure the 2 processors helped)

Wow! that's one helluva speedie setup

no you don't...lol

the 3 - 256MB SSDs I looked at were running ~$500 each. for the average build that would be $12000 - 13,000 in SSDs alone, they said they used 24 but the spec list said 26.

then again Samsung apparently asked then to do it so they may have had the hardware provided or at least the SSDs.

in other thoughts....

I'm on my way, I already have a TT Armor case...

Not really something the average home user needs or is looking for.

the point of doing this is not get it becouse you need it, IS BECOUSE YOU CAN GET IT!

Currently it is common to have 1 TB in an new computer, it doubles each 1 1/2 year, so in about 3 years this setup will be available for everyone

Not taking in account slower Windows editions
