Brad Wardell's views about technology, politics, religion, world affairs, and all sorts of politically incorrect topics.

64bit operating systems (like Windows 7-64bit) pave the way to expanding games in interesting ways.  Bigger worlds, more players, more unit types, more stuff.  It wouldn’t be fair to those who don’t have 64-bit OSes to have to pay for features and content they can’t use.

So the question is, would you support the creation of future DLC that is only available to those who have 64-bit?

I looked over the votes, ignoring the opinion on 64bit content.

It appears that 92% of all Elemental customers who voted have 64bit windows. That is impressive market penetration.

Memory limitations are bogging PC gaming down in the dark ages.  64-bit clients are now the way to go...........FREEDOM!!!

It would be nice if games would catch up to the technology of years ago, like 64bit, Dx10, Dx11...but unfortunately a large number of people are still in the 32 bit world.

I think the last chart I looked at showed 40% or more of people still use XP.

Why not sell ship figurines, clothes, and other mechandise to fund a revamp of the engine.
