Playing around with that this evening.  Trying to migrate from my 2010 Mac Pro. Taking a lot longer than I’d like.

I also have a ThinkPad X1-carbon on the way. I’ll let you know how that goes when I get it.

Thats one thing I am wondering about... when you increase the resolution without increasing the size of the monitor/pixels, do you have to increase the size of icons and text to compensate?

 

I know by default many applications will be running at 1/2 resolution and double size, so they look the same as always, but you can force the resolution up which makes it very compact and possibly difficult to use.
