I’ve taken tests like this before. Very interesting to see where people end up.

Here’s the test:

Extreme religion is scary shit.

You beat me to it...which was unfair as timezones meant I was in the land of nod....

The best that can be gleaned from this survey is a simple comparison with others doing it.  It's certainly not a scientific litmus test ...

Of course...it 'could' be underwritten by Homeland Security whom is now beating a path to your door..............................

Well I guess what I am saying is that don't condemn every single atheist just because these evil mass-murderers were atheists. Seems like this thread is deviating

Not the first time, either: You just noticed it, this time.

Slowly, but inexorably, you shall be assimilated. Resistance is futile.

Actually, I'm surprised it remained civil for as long as it did!

Very often, it seems, you scratch an atheist and a statist bleeds. And the problem with statists is that they want to use the government to enforce their world views (whether that be enviromentalism, health food, etc.).

Think you are forgetting that a population always had governments enforcing their ideology onto the population, including Christian 'values' ... I know plenty of atheist who want a 'small government'.

Eeeenteresting. I don't think I've ever seen anyone PERFECTLY on the center of one of these before.

Religion is to hate as books are to paper.

Directional compass was off.... can happen when tippling one or six too many white wines.

Fact is, I've done it myself.... reading the relevant post but clicking the quote button in the one below.

It is editable, however.  You change the wrong name for the right one and alter the post # to the correct one.. easy peasy.

Probably because most people lean one way or the other due to holding more specific beliefs or ideals [in this case] about being a libertarian.  The thing is, knowing my own values, and believing I'm more of a libertarian, probably leaning toward the left, I don't know that these tests reflect the actual mind-set/nature of anyone.

Religion is to hate as books are to paper.

Rubbish.

Hateful people use any excuse to be hateful... and please, don't start picking the Bible apart to find one sentence or another. Look at the overriding spirit of the book: Look at the forest rather than one individual tree.
