Due to the popularity of JoeUser.com, we're going to have to schedule a couple days of outage when GalCiv II launches so that all the database bandwidth is available for it. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Once we get GalCiv II out the door, I'll be assigning someone to profile JU so that it's easier on the servers.

Profiling? PROFILING?! How DARE you think to profile your servers! Next thing ya know, you dastardly villains will be segregating the printers in a closet, and forcing the dells into hard labor...

Anyway, hope the outage is brief and that the GC2 launch goes smoothly

Again, not to be pushy, but you might consider giving us a chance to by paying members of JU. I don't know that it would ever be profitable, but at least those of us who would like to contribute could do what we could. I'd like to see JU be a successful enterprise of its own. A bit starry-eyed, probably, but to me this is just as addictive as the skinning.
