Posting problems

Hopefully none of you have had this problem but I wasn't able to post or respond today.

The new (ahem) logon system is buggy and unfinished apparently. I couldn't even log off to fix the problem. I had to delete my cookies and then close my browsers and then reload and then relogon. Now it works.

Brad, the team was made aware of it this morning and have been working on it. I assumed that they had it fixed, but saw posts after hours that proved otherwise. I am sure that it will be fixed soon or I will have to locate my fist of death

As a side note, it just took me 5 minutes to get it to log out and then let me log back in to post this....double ack! The fist of death is itchin'....

If anyone has an error please post the error that you are receiving and the URL that is in the browser at the time of the error. Thank you.

Ok. I think I have fixed the error. If you still see the problem it may because your login information is bad. So, just close your browser, and open a new one and come back to JoeUser. If you still experience the problem please post here.

I did, and I'm still having problems. I'm having to do what you prescribed....log out, delete cookies, close the browser and reload....never mind, I'm sure the threat of Karma's fist of death will be enough to get it working again....

Hopefully it's getting better. I'm able to post now pretty reliably. But I'm not convinced the problems are cured.

I'm looking in to this as we speak. I'm curious when these problems started happening because updates to the sites login system haven't been changes in a couple weeks. Puzzling, I wonder if a recent update to the site over-wrote some of my work. I'm looking at some older files to compare and see if this occurred.

all seems to be working fine now, just posted an article and it posted,,,,thanks to brad and whomever else was responsible for the quick fix...

a lil off subject, but i was curious to when you were going to start testing the political machine game?...it looks most fascinating. i've been playing those types of "avalon hill" games (as i call em, but not limited to the brand) manually since childhood,,,but rarely have the time these days...this seems like a nice adaptation of those types of games without the slowness or tediousness hopefully...looking over the game instructions and such took me back...i guess one positive thing came out of this "posting malfunction."

Mine has been fluey for 3 days. It puts up a 'perfectnav.com' search engine when I click to post, and the cookie re-appears even after deleting it 3 times and re-booting. If I didn't work in more than one window I would have had to shut down the site in my travels completely.
