  • My second job was working in a garage cleaning toilets, cleaning windows, weeding, painting the fence around the area in 100+ degree weather.
  • I was 13 when I got my second job. I made $2 an hour under the table. (that would be $2.50 today).

wow! this was really neat

A hard worker from early on!

How did you escape allergies??

Sorry about your 3rd dog! That's a real hard piece of hurt!

And a box turtle?  would that be a California box turtle??

I totally understand the thing about talking on the phone, I detest it too!  mostly though if I get an answering machine.

You are absolutely correct in your "greatest fear",  God forbid anything happens to one of your beloved children! I hope they are always safe.

Something bad happening to our children has the power to destroy the strongest person....

and off topic,  where is that article you? wrote about all the different blogging personalities??  loved that one and don't remember the name of it!

P.S.  if you're reacting to chocolate, beware of shellfish! and peanuts!  and possibly the kind of dye that doctors use for testing people, ( like in angiograms)  just a for your information precautionary note.

Very interesting ... You sound incredibly healthy - I think you should volunteer to be studied to help all of us who sniffle and sneeze through life - Are you a mutant? You could be the Incredible Immune System Man!

I think what I'm going to take from this is that Dove chocolate boosts your immune system with the unfortunate side effect of making your skin break out but hey at least it isn't a four hour erection which never bothered me since I don't have a penis. I dared my husband to call in sick to work with this excuse but he won't. That would just be hilarious.

I'm going to go write my own random facts article. I might even tag people at the end -lol.

Cute article, sounds like you've been fairly lucky when it comes to physical ailments. I wish I never got colds

And I don't think I'd want to live with four girls either...

You lived with 4 girls for one year.  I grew up with 4 sisters.  And yea, I dont recommend it either.

I was going to mention except I don't know it for a fact that I'm essentially immune to any sort of bacteria related ailment. I can get viruses (cold, flu) but have never (in my adult life anyway) had strep throat or any sort of infection.

Awesome. It's amazing how much you can learn about someone with just a random collection of facts - both from the facts themselves and from what you choose to share. I recently had the chance to share a lot of random facts about myself with someone whom I don't know very well and I found myself holding back on some fairly insignificant details. Don't know why. Maybe I just think everything about me is actually significant.

I hope more people share some random facts. I always like this type of blog.

Sometimes we subconcienously protect ourselves, which I think is a smart choice!
perhaps in the future you might not want this person to know things about you?
I think it wise to withhold some info...! self preservation

Planetfall! See, the GREAT thing about that game was that it wasn't nearly as hard as most Infocom adventures, and because it had Floyd it was really approachable as well. I only needed one hint on that game (how to kill the amoeba when you're micronized). Awesome, awesome game...but my personal favorite Infocom adventure was A Mind Forever Voyaging.

Did you parents find you in a crater? LOL.

Inspiring list. I especially like:

Indeed. There are a lot of facts I don't share.  We choose the present what we want to present and that can say a lot about the person.

Here's some not so positive facts:

  • I'm physically very inflexible. I can barely touch my knees, even when I was in track
  • My motabalism, which has slowed down considerably, had the positive effect that I could drink a lot more without feeling the effects but the downside of motabalising anesthetics just as quickly which made getting wisdom teeth taken out not a fun visit.
  • I apparently have weak ankles or something as I keep doing something to them when I play basketball lately.
  • I have a strong dislike of loud noises
  • I hate talking to people on the phone that I don't know but have no problem with people in person.
  • I am mildly autistic

Any suggestions on places to visit after 6PM, on a $65 per diem? Simon's going to be there for CAD boot camp from the 25th of June to the 2nd of July.

The hotel provides breakfast, so that $65 has to cover lunch/dinner and any attractions.

I'm afraid not, I'm still somewhat a tourist there myself so I just go to different places each time.
