Brad,
I can't speak for others, but everytime I post an article these last couple days, an error message comes up. After the first couple of duplicate articles, I figured out to open JU in another window (thank you, tabbed browsing) to ensure that it posted before attempting to post again, but I think some users may be posting again when they receive the error message.
Not sure, but it's a definite possibility.

I get the error message too. Like Gid said, I bet they just aren't checking to see if it went through before hitting back and submitting again.

I got the error as well. I did the same as Gid, checked the site to see if the article had posted, which it had, before trying again. My guess is that is the source of the duplicates.

Make it unanimous. I learned the second browser window trick the last time this was happening. Beats deleting duplicates.

Yep, I also get an error message, but I open another tab to check and see if the article posted (which is always does). So in answer to the question, it's both a site problem and user error.

Ok, I believe I have the problem cleared up, fingers crossed. The problem was caused by a database change that was fixing a problem for another site. Sorry about the mess.

When I posted duplicate articles yesterday, it was because I got an error message after I had clicked 'submit'.
Once the articles were posted, I couldn't get the 'edit/delete' feature to appear on the articles despite my logging out and logging back in numerous times. It wasn't until last night that it mysteriously appeared and I could delete the duplicated article.
