Some daily use visual styles that didn't get as much attention as they should. One of my personal favorite artists, Z71, created a bunch of outstanding visual styles for the GUI Olympics. And in most events, his skins almost got into the top 3.  But here are some other skins that I really liked that didn't get much attention that make good "daily use" skins.

I really liked Devoir by essorant, it is a bloody brilliant skin...although not a part of the GUI Olys this year. In my opinion, essorant is one of the more talented people making skins for WindowBlinds.

Kewk is one of my favourites, I've been using it a lot since I downloaded it. The fancy skins are good for amusement and to show off what WB can do (G-Pod, Sektor, Antares, just to name a few) but at the end of the day I always come back to something clean and simplistic. I'm currently using Digital Cream by Robert Izsaki, it's clean, it's simple and fits well with most icons and wallpapers.

I'm a big fan of Fly, by Treetog (Renato Veras.)

Very clean, yet elegant.

Yeah, Kewk-Hoe would have to be at the top my list of favourite skins for this year. It's simple and easy to work with, yet brings a certain style to any desktop.

Oh and the author's name is Erik Holmer, not Homer as on the small screenshot.

Thank you Mr_Frog and Placebo_09. Nice to appreciated. My favourites this time include Airlock, Blanco, Opulence and Vector Cell, and probably a few others. What a lot of talented people!

I have to agree with the consensus -- I like the skins that have all the fancy-schmancy animations and such -- but when it comes to everyday usage, I stick to the clean lines and minimalistic styles.

Funny, but I had downloaded every one of the ones you have in this article, already. It sorta makes me feel special. Heh.

I hear you about Kewk...thats an incredible skin. I tweaked mine up and added about 6 other buttons to the titlebar to suit my needs, but I really enjoy using that skin.
