Well we're pretty excited.  On Page 21 in the new issue of Time Magazine Stardock's newest game, The Political Machine, published by our friends at Ubi Soft, gets a very favorable review.  And in the fame (though not fortune category), I'm quoted in the article.

If you've ever wanted to try your hands at Presidential politics without having to leave the house, The Political Machine is your game. It should be at a store near you (Walmart, Best Buy, etc.). Or you can get it from TotalGaming.net (www.totalgaming.net).

Congratulations, Brad! The more I get to know about you and stardock, the more impressed I am. I visit the politicalmachine.com website, and the game actually looks like something I might get a kick out of. Your inclusion of humour into the game (with characters such as "the kook" is, I am reasonably certain, a good bet to make this game a biggie.

Best of luck to you and your crew with this one!

A note from Tarun Patwari,Dubai,UAE

A true decision

Dhananjay Chatterjee has been hanged. My frank opinion is true, perfect decision has been taken by Government, although I am really unhappy for his bereaved family members specially for his wife. I would like to extend my condolence to his parents and family members.

This punishment not only a message, this is also a lesson to us the consequence of gruesome crime. Dhananjay’s sentence to death will remind those who will try to commit same mistake. From this punishment similar crime will be reduced in our society, people can take easy breath.

If Dhananjay was not hanged neither he nor his family would have been benefited because he deserved lifetime imprisonment. So this punishment not only saved rest of his life, it will help to bring awareness to the people and the society at large.

Government should not waste time, money and delay in hanging process for such crime.
During 13 years lots of money and time have been wasted. This money should be utilized for those who are dying without medicine, for those students who are going to terminate their education for financial crisis and welfare of mankind. Government has to be more sincere and active.

I am intrigued with The Political Machine. I will certainly be keeping my eye on this one, but I am going to wait for a demo. I have become jaded enough as a gamer that I refuse to buy a game without playing a demo first. Looking forward to the release of the demo to get an idea of how the game plays. Looks good though.

My copy of that Time has an interview with the acting Iraqi Prime MInister. I can't even log into Time.com because I'm a non-US or Canadian subscriber (and I am a subscriber, just a European one). Just what the hell did they say in their review that they're trying to keep from the rest of the world? This runs deep, I can feel it in my bones...

Looks like someone's testing a new spambot prototype.
