Brad Wardell's views about technology, politics, religion, world affairs, and all sorts of politically incorrect topics.

This entire post could've been done just with links to the MSNBC rumor machine. But I'm kind of choked up after last night's bittersweet news - think of all the great times that now we'll never have. Plus, focusing exclusively on one source would underplay the breadth and depth of these people's pathetic melodramatics:

1. Denial - This was probably the most surreal stage, with Obama campaign eventually elevating unblinking denial into a campaign smear. The Atlantic ran an article entitled "the Eagleton Scenario" and the NYT published an op-ed gently and kingly suggesting that Palin "should withdraw" to avoid humiliation. InTrade shares on Palin being replaced spiked to almost 15. When that didn't work, the left seamlessly transitioned to a different wishful denial.

I think they are still in anger.  After all, why would a President Candidate make a statement likening the opposition to a pig?  That is juvenile at best, and boneheaded to say the least.

Are you sure it is not you who are in anger still? You know perfectly well he wasn't referring to Palin as a pig--that would be boneheaded--yet I agree his timing of using lipstick was boneheaded.

Anyone who would bring up the Eagelton syndrome is definitely a bonehead.

What I think is immaterial.  WHat his supporters think was that he made the statement in reference to Palin.  I think you need to argue with them.

I have made clear I am not for either candidate and only like Palin among the 4 (and detest Biden for obvious reasons).  Why should I be angry?  This election, I can sit back and laugh at everyone.
