I wept.

Thanks for finding the memories... and so succinctly and movingly put.

We'd not be who we are -- we'd not stand so strongly for freedom in the world today -- were it not for our president.

Funny, those same pics could be turned around and used for a Pro Kerry blog in the same manner.

I want to hear just how your going to spin this for Kerry?

Oh for Chrissakes...can we not put aside our political differences for once?  As far as I was concerned this piece was about America.  Not Republican America or Democrat America, AMERICA. We, as a people, as a nation, regardless of color or creed or political leanings.  Bin Laden didn't think to himself "hmm, there's a bunch of Republicans in the Trade Towers, let's not bomb them....let's go after Democrats instead" (or vice cersa). He was after Americans.  Any Americans.  That people of other nationalities were there was just a bonus.....

....this was a very moving piece.  Incredible imagery, simple but profound accompanying words.

Thank you.  I needed to see it.

Why should I? Besides, I was just making an observation. Afterall it is that individuals views and interpretations that made it the way it is. One with different views and interpretations could make it come out differently.

I can't help but think that some of the pictures towards the beginning were photoshopped, but what can I say.

As usual. After every picture they would say "it's Bush's fault".

I wasn't particularly moved. The emphasis on smiling made me think of an infomercial.
