As part of your resolution.

I think what you need for your Novel Writing is some friendly competition! I'm working on Novels myself. I haven't started the core writing yet, but I betcha if you had someone to go against you'd start putting time into them.

Oh and, finish the lower level of Stardock so you guys can hire me.

Any chance I can get you to hold off on that long enough for me to graduate and then apply for the job?

Well, if you need to hire people for afformentioned games team.  Let us know

I can be the coffee runner!

Great list there, Brad.  Let me know how #5 shapes up and you can bet I'll be picking that up!

As for #2, best of luck to you!  I'm doing my own weight loss project right now, although mine started in mid-November.

Novels? Who needs authors anymore?

Might as well go for broke and try hitting the filming industry with the next superlatively rare and exotical revolutionary scenario (otherwise know as scripts, screenplay drafts or even specs) just i like i did in August'00 with "Panic..." for Paramount's ST:Voyager TeeVee show.

Heck, if Shane Black could get a million for Lethal Weapon i don't see why our local Draginol can't have at least half as much for an upcoming ..Dominion of Korx' financial collapse in a Galaxy near you.. spelled checked and represented by a formal, valid literary agent who, btw... would take its usual 15%+ cut for daring to stir big silver screen Corps.

Might as well insert...

1a. Backport some important TA options to DA.

1b. Tweaks & Fixes to both the above.

1c. Release WarofMagic:Elemental beta soon afterwards *1a & 1b*.

1d. Follow up of the 'Please slam my game' thread issues while customer feedbacks start pouring in about *1c*.

---

11. Forge strategic alliances with other key Game developpers except EA - for moooo money to afford every previous resolutions found herein.

12. Delay everything for next year--  unless, wife & boys disagree.

And if you should want to know, i stopped myself from gambling on such predictions cuz last i did, i still smoke *Tobacco* -- only. Although i keep a close watch on currently ongoing profound thoughts; X-Worlds & CoSH mods.

Why would we agree to delay everything for next year?

No... HIS wife(6) and children(4).

I am HIS wife and I know his children pretty well.

Improve my email communication skills. How I communicate online is very different from how I am in person even though I use the same words.

Brad, would you happen to be slightly autistic?  I don't mean that as any type of assault.  I have a friend that is autistic and he mentioned the exact same thing to me because he knows he lacks some empathy because of his autism and misses how some of his words come across (also very slight).

Ugh, not enough hours in the day for me to handle two stardock games and still be a productive member of the human race dude.

Woohoo, second games team! What about an ops team and some infrastructure in a datacentre so you can finish that MMORTS?

I love new year's resolutions, they're always completely insane. Is it just me or is that enough goals for a decade?

cheers,

James

Mine include loosing weight too, though my numbers are a bit bigger.

I'd say my main resolution is find a job.   Followed by do more for the community.

I am changing my diet to reduce the level of processed foods (avoiding anything with more than 5 ingrediants and anything I can't pronounce or don't recognize), and eating as local as I can.  Better weight and health should improve as a by-product.
