Did you watch the most recent “This Week” on ABC?

You get a real idea of the bankruptcy of the political left through the dishonesty and pettiness of its advocates.

He, he.  I loved how Donna Brazille was pushing for Martha 'Coaxley'.

And I would like to see George's hair stand on end - I think it almost did.

Say what you will about Brazille (being Gore's campaign chair), but she makes Katrina look like an idiot!  Actually, that is wrong.  No one made Katrina look like anything other than what she is.  Donna Brazille just came off as calmer and rational, if misguided.

Katrina does seem to have a self-righteous streak to her.

I like how Katrina talks about taxing the wealthy. I wonder if that means she would be willing to take a tax hike?

I think her grandparents were the founders of MCA and I believe her father was an abasssdor/attorney.   I love how she talks about how the rich need to be pulling more weight!  WHY DON'T YOU START PULLING YOUR WEIGHT YOU LEPTON!

Does anyone know if she just talks the talk or does she actually walk it as well?

I'll first admit that I've no previous knowledge of the people at the 'round table' prior to this link.  Something that I found to be the most telling for Ms. Katrina is toward the end of the linked clip.  She refers to the cliche of Cadlillac health plans as being more like Chevy.  Then follows up with 'more like Lada.'

Lada is a middle line of cars made by AutoVAZ a Russian Manufacture.  I'm not certain today, but this was a Russian gov't owned manufacturer.  A very peculiar reference imo.

A very peculiar reference imo.

No, like the Trabbi, it became somewhat of a joke to the western communists.  They wanted Soviet Style Communism, but of course "they" would not have to drive the trabbi or Lada (they woudl continue to get the West German Cars).  It is telling - in that she reveals herself to be a campus Stalinist.  Fortunately for her, it is not illegal in the west.

But this reference of both Chevy to the Lada is still quite remarkable.  They are doing this health care to supposedly help the middle class just like the Russians created the Lada a car for the middle class (really the upper lower class).  I see too much insight rather than randomness to think that it was on purpose.
