Now that I can stream movies in HD, I just don’t have it in me to go out and go to Blockbuster anymore.

I can’t find Gran Turino on Zune (xbox360) or comcast so I’ll just go without it.  I’m just that damn lazy now.

Well, I foresee there won't be a store to go to anyway in the future. Just recently in our town, a Hollywood Video and a Blockbuster closed up shop.

"Lazy" is only bad when you are not doing something that it is important for you to do and there is no better way of doing it...

what you are is efficient.

It is not laziness to use machines or technology to do things faster and better... otherwise any of use who doesn't harvest grain by hand and then mill it by hand is lazy.

As far as I am concerned, optical media is dead. Long live streaming!

I don't go to Blockbuster much anymore, for the price of one movie or so I have a monthly subscription to Netflix.

I stream Netflix on my Xbox 360, PS3, and also on a Windows Media Center PC.

If Netflix doesn't satisfy that, then we have an Apple TV which we can rent right off of iTunes.

What's Blockbuster? Oh yea, that place I use to go to years ago where we could get movies for cheap for a few days. I dont think I have been to one in years. Though I have seen these strange looking ATMs with the name Blockbuster on it. Thought they were getting into the banking Business .

I agree with taltamir, this is not laziness, it's efficiency with a bit of sacrifice (I’ll just go without it).

It's also no longer available via Amazon VOD, where I watched it from last year. Somebody's fighting over a pot.
