Make the pain stop..

Tomorrow I leave on a trip to New York. And so I'm here at work trying to do a bunch of things that need to get done before I got.  Naturally that means every piddly little technical thing blows up. Things that normally work fine go wrong.  I walk in the door and my car alarm goes off. I walk into my office and I get a good static shock. I turn on my laptop and get a blue screen. My copy of GalCiv 2 doesn't work on my laptop. Got a paper cut when shuffling papers around. Ran out of staples for the media guides. Dropped my cell phone on the ground. And Blog Navigator keeps crashing when I go to write this article..

Paper cuts are the worst!

Hope this is the extent of things going wrong and that you have a safe trip!

I had a day almost exactly like this, it was last monday. *NOTHING* went right that day, nothing at all.. The trouble started early in the morning, from something simple, like me spilling my breakfast on my shirt, then escalated when I found out someone was using my dads cellphone for 15 hours of calls a week, despite him dying in October... Then a fight with my now former mortgage broker, about why I have to pay PMI on a new house i'm considering, even when i'm paying 11% down, and have 765(outstanding) credit score.. The troubles escalated, nothing went right, not even lunch that day., and yes, I was shocked 4-5 times by static that day too.

So I definately know what you are going through, and wish you the best.

I'm having one of those weeks. The bank's been stalling with my credit card, they said next week, maybe. Bastards. My ODNT subscription lapsed because of their ineptitude. First time in 5 years that's happened. You have no idea how pissed off I am.

Hope you have a safe and productive trip mate, have a good one.

I hate this, I was in the College parking lot the other day talking to a friend when this happend. I unlocked the door with the keyfob then a couple of minutes later opened the door and got in, then the alarm started going off, why? I don't know.........

I hope your day gets better!

I often find that I have one disaster-filled day where everything goes wrong or bad....then I don't have any for a few weeks.

It's like the universe sends all the piddly little inconvieniences at the same time....instead of spreading them out at the rate of one a day or so, they all happen consecutively.

So, if that's what's happening to you, you should be able to look forward to a week's worth of normaility!

Have a good trip!  Any media appearances this time?

Have a safe trip, Brad. Come back in one piece and nothing broken.

So sorry about your day, but hey at least you are getting all the bad stuff out of the way. The trip should be smooth sailing from here on out.
