Being about the same age as it, and only dreaming of having a computer for most of that time, I didn't get a chance to see the OS/2 in action. But what I do miss about it are the jokes, which are just about the only relation I have with it. Jokes like:
OS/2 VirusScan -- "Windows found: Remove it? [Y,Y]"
Windows vs OS/2 = Michael Jackson vs Mike Tyson
OS/2... Opens up Windows, shuts up Gates
Microsoft gives you Windows... OS/2 gives you the whole house
Is OS/2 half an operating system?
And many more. Now, all I've got are Mac jokes.
I completely agree Draginol. In the era of Win 3.1 and 95 I primarily used OS/2 2.x and Warp 3. Win31 and 95 were just plain garbage compared to them. The first time I got on the internet was using Warp 3.
To this day I still find myself wishing I had the object oriented desktop and REXX. NT has passed up OS/2 in functionality in many ways, but it still isn't quite where OS/2 was for my productivity.

Talking about getting re-aquainted. They're bringing back, of all things, Commodore 64 in three or four flavors. Hefty price tag on the really good one too. $700 US. Read the article day before yesterday at Tech something. I don't recall the exact website. Okay ... I found it.
