....and football?something is definitely wrong with you.

I come from that part of the planet where the world's oldest football code originated....have lived here for almost 58 years and have NEVER attended a match.

I will admit, however to attending an Arsenal vs. Stoke City soccer [football] match in 1973 whilst touring in England....at least the Poms can make a round ball...and actually use their....wait for it.....FEET in a "football" match....

I'm not talking about Rugby.

Soccer, Nasarog, soccer.

No...Aussie Rules, RND/Nasarog, Aussie Rules.

Yes, it's the oldest recognised code in the world.

And boxing...I don't like boxing.....

And I don't need a 'love-you-long-time' bride.....

It's all spam....

Shout out seconded! Thank you!

Well, I was closer than Rugby. Wasn't I?

No...Aussie Rules, RND/Nasarog, Aussie Rules.

No... Aerial Ping-Pong, Jafo, Aerial Ping-Pong.  Which ain't exactly football... they throw, punch, bat and spill the ball more often than kick it... with an actual foot.  It is the most inane, least-structured and disorganised 'game' Ive ever seen... no wonder it struggles to find a true home outside of  Melbourne/Victoria.  No, can't count Sydney Swans, Freemantle Dockers, Gold Coast Suns, either.  They're all ex-Melburnites or wannabe Victorians with a passion for sissy ballerina-ball and stupidity.

But then you already knew that, didn't you?

They're all wannabe Europeans with a passion for sissy ballerina-ball and stupidity.

Sounds like a good definition of soccer teams in the U.S. to me.  American football is manliest football.

Yeah, they're always patting each other on the ass.....

American handegg is manliest handegg.

How about stripping off all the "manly" protective gear, and then carry on the game?

on Sep 11, 2012

Not enough, Snowy.

Add punji pits, Claymores, random mortar fire, automatic weapons, crocodile pits, piranhas and SEAL teams.

And double the field size.

I will support this under the condition that you play an NFL game without any protective gear in a position other than special teams and walk off the field at the end in a healthy state.

Last man standing rules.

Auto/cycle racing is a sport.  Football is a game.

In football, the balls are provided. In racing, you have to bring your own.

Sorry, Brad...looks like I've quite efficiently hijacked your thread...

SpardaSon21.... clearly you haven't seen Rugby....really big bloks...full contact...no protection...

I kinda wish Aussie rules got established in the US, it was fun to watch at 2am at work.
