A great way to diffuse a raging Internet troll.
I love Flowcharts. My favorite:

And always retreat to the best come-back ever if someone calls you out on your bullshit:
"I was being ironic/sarcastic"
Excellent!
And a great way to CONfuse a redneck.
When diffused, the Internet Troll passes through a membrane into another partition... *poof - problem gone.
When defused, the Internet Troll is neutralized... *poof - problem gone.
When confused, the redneck becomes more amusing... *poof - problem gone.
So... every way, WIN!
My wife and youngest daughter love to use; “I was just joking!” And yes they troll me and each other all the time.
Again, I'm kinda 'worried' about the comments on the site/source. I really 'hope' they're not fair-dinkum....
I don't really like this flowchart. It disregards the possibility of a person thoroughly reading and assessing the situation and still hanging around for discussion. Or for insults, as the case may be.
As if that ever happens on this here Internet thingie....
I've seen enough political flame wars to know that it's extremely rare for the people discussing it to have actually read what's going on fully.
Besides that, anyone who gets "angry" about a discussion on the Internet should probably find something else to do.
The stuff from the Trayvon Martin case would be a good example of that. People were sending Zimmerman death threats and there was a bounty put on him and how many people had bothered to actually look at the facts? I have no idea what the courts will decide with him. I do know that I'm not going to expend energy hating on Zimmerman one way or the other.
And let's remember, the media has its own agenda in these kinds of things. We get played a 911 call tape where they ask him to quit following Trayvon and people latch on to that.
Good point. I'm one of those guys that find it hard to convict anyone of anything unless there's indisputable visible evidence and even then I have a hard time. Videos can be doctored... my own eyes can play tricks on me. I still think O.J. is innocent. Anyway, I might be getting off-topic, but you bring up a good point about politics. Ever read the comments section of a political article posted on the Internet? Republicans are the worst people in the world. Democrats are the worst people in the world. Who's left? Most of us are just sheep blowing in the wind. Hats off to you Brad and others who can stay sane despite all the forces working against you/us.
Then again, even in real life you seldom get to know all the facts. If no one ever weighed in without knowing all the details, discussion would be scarce.
Did I just read that you're implying that the media is biased? Never!!!!! The media is the only honest thing left that's available to us.
Okay, not really. Just playing.
That is certainly true. I don't think the guy's comic is designed to be some holy writ. But I think that worst and most common heated discussions on the net are by people who have no idea what they're talking about (Trayvon Martin case as an example). They're BETTER than reading!
