Not sure i'd trust anyone with an AOL address. !

I've been called "Sue Happy" before, but in my mind its the last course of action when all else fails. Currently i'm sueing about 5 people/companies, but 3 of them are class action suits and 2 of those are against one of my previous employers for failing to pay overtime and other things. The other two are related to my fathers passing, one of which is a malpractice, which I found out just today might actually be settled with a payout because the hospital knows their mistake and don't want to be dragged into something they can't win.

I don't like the legal system, or dealing with it though, people should just payup when they did wrong, and admit their mistake instead of forcing us to file suit.

That's a lot of lawsuits to be involved in.

But I can assure you that Jerry is a top-notch attorney.  But I agree, he should get  his own domain name.

Yes, and you should tell him to get one. It doesn't cost that much to have your own domain name and email address (I wouldn't advise him on getting a GMAIL account lol)

Being jerry@aol.com just don't set well, especially when your a techy and know just how easy it is to get a email address (or even set up a web page)

As for lawsuits... civil lawsuits are NOT easy. I am going to be part of one shorty against a company that
A) Put my life at danger
didn't investigate harrassment charges
C) didn't investigate life endangering claims that they actually KNEW about before I even started working there
D) fired me
E) gave false information to unemployement
F) Lied to OSHA about investigating claims and posting a letter to other employees about investigation (or even notifiing anyone about it)
G) Contiue to put other peoples lives in danger (including school children because thie is a musuem)

How many years you ssay this has been going on? more than 2 years. is the a building open to the public? YES Men women and children (one incedent included babies during a smoke condiotion on a floor), lack of training, false guidance during emergencies, and the list goes on.

But guess what? legally this is not a clear issue. That is right!! From labor to the office of alohol and drugs...

So you really think lawsuits are out of control (tort reform) they are, but I will say this: most laws (civil) are focused on business and its existance. Don't be surprised that many upon many cases do not even get heard or are dismissed. Tort reform is needed, but better labor laws, harrasment laws and whistle blower laws are then needed too.
