If you've never been to IMDB, check it out. It's a fantastic way to find out if a movie is any good. I generally avoid any movie that gets less than a 7.

I generally go for a "more than 7 or less than 3" standard. I am a campy movie buff, and in my opinion, if it's REALLY bad, it's gotta be good!
I made it about 30 minutes into Battlefield Earth before the room started to spin. Fortunately, it was on HBO and my floor had carpeting.
