I love Leap Years because I'm EVIL
One more day of income, no extra salaries

Oh yea...this is a leap year. 29 days this month and it's sooo awesome. Employers all over the world know what I speak of.
For those of you who get paid a salary, you work an extra day this year. No extra pay. Just extra days. EXCCELLLENNNT!
It's great. At our company, salaries make up the vast majority of our expenses. So February 29 is like a free day. So the thousands of dollars in revenue for that day are basically pure gravy. Mmmmm. Gravy.
Each day I tell my co-workers: "If you guys work really hard, put in extra time, *I* can get a plasma screen TV." It's a morale booster of course. Gives them something to work for.
Though I think I'll use some of that money to buy new tires. For some reason, all 4 of my tires are flat every evening after work. Very odd.

Is it really a day extra work or, is it payback time for the 8 hours of doing nothing since the last Leap Year?

Bastard!
Hehe...... mmmmmm gravy.....
But, Adam, even though it is on Sunday, it means that the following Monday should have been Sunday, so you still get an extra day to work.....don't you work Sundays, anyways? I thought Sunday was one of the work days
You know- Monday through Sunday.....

In my case being self employed leap years allow me one free day to network more and find new clients. One free day to do whatever I want with it................

Doesn't make a difference to me. I'm a stay-at-home Mom. I rarely know what day of the week or month it is anyway
I only look forward to Sat and Sun mornings when I don't have to wake up to that stupid alarm!
I do work part time but the difference I make wouldn't even get one of your tires changed

I think I will take an extra day off this year. It will be a reall pitty if all our web servers quit running on Feb 29.
Now how much did you say that bonus will be?

Hourly employees rejoice at the potential dollar in the pocket.
All you salary employees, for just 9.95 you too can purchase a handy dandy tire-slashing stiletto! Don't be the only one in your office without one!

Angie, that's why I said "on the same note", technically we'll be working on one more day on March
look at the bright side, we'll be getting older one day later every four years!
I just hope my daughter won't be born 29th of Feb!
Though it probably would have some bright sides too
- like getting older in the quarter of the rate of other people
