Kerry not so bright after all
Published on June 8, 2005 By Draginol In Politics

Kerry has finally started releasing some of his files that he had promised to during the campaign.  For all the left-wing attacks on Bush's intelligence it seems rather ironic that Bush did better at Yale than Kerry did (even if barely).  The good news is that Kerry did do well in one subject - French.

This isn't to say Kerry is dumb. But for some bizarre reason, left-wingers tend to believe that they are intellectually superior to conservatives and paint Bush out to be a "moron" despite no evidence to substantiate that.

All I am saying is that IF the shortfall in recruiting is not reversed a drift will need to be considered. The Marine Corps has also had problems, with both recruiting and retention, to believe there is not a problem is unrealistic.

you can argue whether it's 25, 35 or 40% short, the fact remains the army for the fourth month in a row has been unable to recruit enough members to meet its needs. The Army Reserve and National Guard has problems with both recruiting and retention and currently make up over 40% of the manpower in Iraq. The Marine Corps has also missed its targets for the first tome in a decade. To argue that is not a problem is unrealistic and if this trend is not reversed, a Draft will be needed.

All I am saying is that IF the world stops spinning, the earth is doomed.

I thin kif you read his statements in the Laura Bush thread, you will see he has completely lost it. The truth laid bare.

Half the posts on that damn thread have gone a bit off.

There is a humorous irony in having this article featured alongside an article that attacks the Left for continuing to try to discredit Bush, even though he'll never run for Presidency again. So you think that attacking Kerry will get you somewhere, but attacking Bush is living in the past. Hmmmm...

Laura Bush seems like a nice person. She is not qualified to be President from what I have read of her background.

Get us somewhere?  Nah.  But it is fun to make fun of the people who think they are snotty elites.

There is not going to be a draft. Enough already with that bs. The only people who tried to start a draft are democrats.

If the Army can not obtain the manpower required, there will be a DRAFT and it will be the Bush polices that caused it!

I wouldn't bank on Kerry not running again. It is unlikely, but given the percentage of the vote he got in 2004, and the possibilities for Republican candidates, I bet he wished he had waited until 2008. It's always possible we'll have a Nixon-style second attempt.

It's always possible we'll have a Nixon-style second attempt.

And with his arrogance, a Nixon style Scandal too!
