Phil Jones is “the guy”, as in THE go-to guy when it comes to climate change.

In an interview where he complains about skeptics “spinning” statements he ultimately reveals this:

"I'm a scientist trying to measure temperature. If I registered that the climate has been cooling I'd say so. But it hasn't until recently - and then barely at all. The trend is a warming trend."

You can read the whole thing here:

During my daily journey to Digg to see what’s cool and new I usually fail the temptation test of reading the comments on some of the political  articles.

For example:

The most dugg comment (indicating that the Digg community found this comment to be insightful):

Thanks for that myopic right wing rant-o-rama, George. Just because you have the money to afford private schools f...

As a kook, I’ve been into alternative power sources for a very long time.  Before being “green” became fashionable and dumb people started parroting what “the wise scientists [who happen to want grants] say” mantra, the kooks of the world have known an ugly truth about energy: Fossil fuels aren’t going away any time soon no matter what.

If you look at the chart above, which I scanned from the December issue of Home Power Magazine (a magazine dedicated to alternative energy so ha...

Did you watch the most recent “This Week” on ABC?

You get a real idea of the bankruptcy of the political left through the dishonesty and pettiness of its advocates.

Discussion I had on

We all need to make money, that's a given in this modern day and age. The issue greens have with "capitalism" is that it is done almost completely devoid of conscience and consideration for the long term outcomes. ("This asthma medicine may help control your asthma symptoms that have not been brought under control by existing medications.... this medication may increase your risk of death from asthma.") ...

As someone on Twitter pointed out, the same people who want universal healthcare are the same people who are hoping Rush Limbaugh will die.

Whenever the government gets involved in something, it becomes about politics. I don’t want health care decided by politicians.

As the Stimulus spending has shown – the best predictor of who will get government money is whether they agree with those spending it.

Ironically, this article comes from the much hated (by some) “Faux News”:

What is interesting is that for all the angst about Fox News that I see online that its popularity is often due to reporting things that simply get ignored elsewhere.

I prefer bias by commission rather than omission.

Rush Limbaugh has been hospitalized with chest pains.  As usual, left-wingers are out there hoping he dies.

Every time someone gets their hands on the raw data and then looks at the “Adjusted” data that the “consensus scientists” end up with, it’s pretty obvious that the data is being modified to fit a pre-determined conclusion.

The above listed article shows how the climate centers that we rely on to tell us what the “average temperature” messed with the data by adding a literal stair-step “adjustment” to the ...

Years ago I wrote “What if global warming zealots are wrong?”

Will they apologize?

Will they feel any shame for all the bile and nastiness they heaped on those who were merely skeptical?

In the past couple of years, the evidence in favor of manmade global climate change has not worked out so well for the zealots.

This past week saw what may be the beginning of the end for the whole global warming movement with the outting of hundreds of emails that allegedly detail countless ...

Read for analysis and for the original data.

No wonder people think government services are “free”. They are – for them. At least directly.
